Myanmar is one of the newest and most exciting players in the global macadamia industry.
Like other new players China and Vietnam, the Myanmar macadamia industry currently receives generous government support and will expand rapidly within the next decade.
Our managing director Kim Wilson has played a key role in the establishment of the industry and continues to contribute to its development and expansion. Kim was contracted by the Burmese government in 2004 to conduct a feasibility study on the potential of macadamias as a new commercial crop, and has managed several macadamia projects in Myanmar over the last decade.
